Hogan Lovells advises SquareX on its acquisition by Zscaler

Singapore, 20 February 2026  – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised SquareX, a Singapore founded cybersecurity browser native protection platform, on its acquisition by Zscaler, Inc. (“Zscaler”), the NASDAQ listed global cloud security leader.

 

This acquisition marks a significant strategic step in Zscaler’s expansion of its Zero Trust browser security and user protection capabilities. This transaction underscores the importance of Southeast Asia as a hub for cybersecurity innovation and reflects the growing global demand for next generation secure browsing solutions.

Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by Singapore-based Private Equity partner Timothy Goh, with support from counsel Nicholas Wee and senior associate Therese Ang. The Singapore team has advised SquareX since its Seed and Series A funding rounds in 2023 and 2025 respectively.
