Hogan Lovells advises RuNe Group on a €30m accordion facility
Led by Dr. Carla Luh, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised RuNe Group on the €30 million increase of its existing loan financing through an accordion facility.
RuNe, a portfolio company of the Connecting Europe Broadband Fund (CEBF), is a wholesale-only, open-access fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network operator active in rural regions of Slovenia and Croatia, with close to 200,000 homes passed. The additional funding enables RuNe to recalibrate its business plan in line with its updated growth trajectory and to support the expansion of its roll-out targets. This accordion facility marks an important step in further strengthening RuNe’s position as a key FTTH provider in both markets.
Hogan Lovells has been advising RuNe since 2024 in connection with their existing credit facility and has now once again supported the company on all legal aspects of this subsequent increase and amendment, reflecting the firm’s continued role as trusted legal advisor and its strong track record in complex infrastructure financings across Europe.
"Supporting RuNe on this follow-on financing demonstrates the continued momentum in fibre roll-out projects across Europe. The accordion facility strengthens RuNe’s ability to deliver on its long-term infrastructure strategy, and we are pleased to have accompanied the team once again in this important step", said Dr. Carla Luh, Partner and Germany Head of Finance.
