Hogan Lovells strengthens Italian administrative and public law team
London, Milan, 16 February 2026 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has announced that Luca Perfetti, a highly-regarded public and administrative lawyer, will be joining our Global Regulatory & IP practice, as partner, together with a team of professionals.
Luca is widely recognised for his work in strategic infrastructure, public procurement and highly-regulated sectors, advising clients at every stage of their engagement with public authorities, including tender procedures, contract awards, execution and litigation. His experience spans sectors including Transportation and Logistics, Energy, Technology, Life Sciences and Health Care, Sports, Media and Entertainment, and Financial Institutions, as well as proceedings before independent regulatory authorities and Foreign Direct Investment procedures.
These additions further strengthens Hogan Lovells’ existing regulatory and public law team in Italy, which includes partner Francesca Angeloni, enhancing collaboration across the firm’s antitrust, regulatory, arbitration and transactional practices, both domestically and across its international platform.
These new arrivals represent another important investment in the firm’s Italian practice: Hogan Lovells has now welcomed approximately 70 people (including 16 partners) to its Italian practice in the last two years.
Patrizio Messina, Managing Partner Italy, said:
“Luca’s arrival confirms our continued investment in Italy and further strengthens our regulatory and public law offering. He is a highly respected practitioner with a strong market profile, and his experience will be a significant asset to our clients.”
Charles Brasted, Deputy Practice Group Leader – Global Regulatory & IP, added:
“Luca brings deep administrative and public law expertise that complements our global regulatory platform. His practice sits at the intersection of regulation, public policy and major projects, and his arrival enhances our ability to support clients on complex, cross-border matters.”
Luca Perfetti commented:
“I am delighted to be joining Hogan Lovells and to become part of its global regulatory practice group. The firm’s international reach, combined with the strength of its Italian practice, provides an excellent environment in which to further develop a leading public and administrative law offering for clients.”
