Amy is a senior associate in the Restructuring & Special Situations practice in London. 

Amy advises private credit funds, special situation investors, banks and insolvency practitioners on domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, including stressed and distressed financings, liability management exercises, restructurings and formal insolvency processes. 

Her work regularly involves complex stakeholder management, multi-jurisdictional structures and the use of English restructuring tools, including restructuring plans, schemes of arrangement and administration processes. 

Amy also spent time in the firm's private capital team in Singapore, advising sponsors and banks on their investments across Asia-Pacific. 

Representative experience

Advising a debt fund on the refinancing of Fortenova group's €1.2bn existing facilities via a secured private note issuance.

Acting for Class B creditors with c. £1bn of bond and loan exposure in relation to the second restructuring plan proposed by Thames Water.

Acting for administrators in the €385m restructuring of the foreign exchange firm Travelex.

Advising lenders on a major balance sheet restructure for the Equiom group, a global professional services provider, regulated in more than ten jurisdictions.

Advising lenders in relation to the successful restructuring of the Interserve Group.

Advising the security agent in relation to the pre-pack sale and balance sheet restructuring of the Matalan group. 

Advising a private equity firm on its acquisition of a controlling stake in one of the leading hospitals in Cambodia.

Advising lenders in relation to the refinancing of New World Development, a leading Hong Kong property developer.

Advising Sojitz Corporation on its acquisition of ownership of Royal Healthcare Pte. Ltd., a specialist healthcare and medical services provider in Singapore.

Advising British International Investment plc in connection with a $75m term loan facility for Blue Leaf Energy Investments Pte. Ltd., a renewable energy platform.
