Christopher is counsel in the London Tax group.  He works on a broad range of corporate tax matters. He has significant experience of structured finance, capital markets and real estate investment transactions.

Christopher is noted as a "key lawyer" within the Hogan Lovells tax practice in the Legal 500 (UK 2022).

Acting for Credit Agricole CIB on the establishment of a £100m private securitisation warehouse facility for Sunsave, the UK’s first FCA-authorised solar subscription provider

Acting for SMBC and Equitix on their £1 billion lease financing of the Crossrail train fleet 

Acting for an APAC REIT on its acquisition of a portfolio of 11 European and UK data centres for £670m

Acting for Landsec and M&G Real Estate on the launch of the Bluewater REIT 

Acting for a major French financial institution on the acquisition of UK leasing companies owning water processing and shipping assets

Acting for Asahi on tax aspects of its £250 million acquisition of Fuller, Smith & Turner plc’s brewing business

Advising The Crown Estate on issues relating to their offshore energy portfolio, including the landmark 8GW Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4

Acting for a large club of senior lenders in relation to the provision of post-IPO facilities to the food travel group SSP

Advising Ares Management on the refinancing of Sykes Cottages and the acquisition of Forest Holidays
