Mizue draws upon her international experience as well as her intellectual property law experience to assist her clients with IP portfolio management and IP enforcement around the world. After graduating from the Waseda University School of Law, Mizue earned her LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the George Washington University Law School. She is a Japanese qualified attorney (bengoshi) and a Japanese qualified patent attorney (benrishi) with an international perspective. Her professional affiliations include the Intellectual Property Section of the Legal Research Institution of the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar association
Throughout her career, Mizue has also worked on data privacy, commercial, and M&A matters.

Advising clients on company law, labor and employment laws, compliance training for employees, and management of ethics hotlines.
Advising an international client on launching a point‑based online game gateway site in Japan, including content, consumer, advertising, commercial, telecom, privacy, and finance regulations.
Advising a global toy manufacture on sales regulations, payment solutions, promotions, and drafting terms and conditions and sales documents for Japan.
Advising global pharmaceutical, medical device, and e‑commerce platform companies on Japanese privacy law, including reviewing policies and international data transfer agreements.
