Alan Lawrence advises institutional lenders and private credit lenders on real estate financings and restructurings across all major commercial property types, including hospitality, gaming, office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use assets.
His work covers mortgage and mezzanine loan origination and restructuring, revolving credit facilities, public-to-private financings, DIP facilities, preferred equity transactions, and co-lender, syndication, and participation structures, as well as loan and loan portfolio sales and acquisitions.
He supports clients across the full financing lifecycle, from origination and structuring through to workout and restructuring, with consistent depth across both performing and distressed situations and a broad range of capital stack positions.
Alan is a member of the Hiring Committee and serves as Board Chair for Puppies Behind Bars.
