Marinus Hamberger guides clients through complex negotiations, litigations and proceedings before authorities. Since qualifying as a lawyer in 2022, he has focused his practice on helping financial institutions navigate challenges with investors or supervisory authorities as well as extensive work with automotive clients. As a trained commercial mediator (MuCDR), he brings a solutions-focused approach to pre-litigation settlement negotiations. Marinus regularly represents clients before national courts and the European General Court, giving him comprehensive procedural perspective across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems.
Beyond his core focus areas, his practice also covers public procurement, insolvency, commercial and corporate litigation, and emerging areas like artificial intelligence liability. In addition to his primary sectors, he also advises insurance companies, technology companies and defense industry clients. From high-stakes individual cases to injunction proceedings to mass litigation, he develops tailored strategies for each matter. This broad foundation allows him to provide strategic counsel to clients facing complex legal challenges in rapidly evolving regulatory environments.
Marinus combines his legal education from the University of Passau with practical experience gained in construction litigation during law school and his work in the dispute resolution practice of an international law firm during his legal clerkship. He leverages this foundation across industries: Whether in traditional finance law, supply chain disputes, or corporate matters, he helps clients anticipate and resolve legal challenges.

Advising the insolvency administrator of a memory chip manufacturer in clawback proceedings against a former competitor regarding the sale of stakes in a Joint Venture.
Representing a major German automotive-OEM in interim proceedings against an automotive supplier threatening to stop delivery.
