Hogan Lovells advises the owners of MVZ Labor Krone GmbH on the sale of their shares to Augenklinik Dardenne SE, part of the Limbach Group

Led by Hamburg-based partner Dr Jan Feigen, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the owners of MVZ Labor Krone GmbH on the sale of all shares to the Limbach Group-owned eye clinic Dardenne SE. The completion of the transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

Founded in 1947, Labor Krone is an accredited institution in the field of laboratory medicine and has established itself as a trusted partner for numerous medical practices, hospitals, and university clinics both regionally and nationally. Its interdisciplinary team of medical specialists and more than 200 employees offers a comprehensive range of services including laboratory medicine, microbiology, human genetics, environmental medicine, forensic analytics, and DNA testing.

The Limbach Group was formed in 2011 through the merger of independent laboratories across Germany and is now one of the largest owner- laboratory groups for laboratory diagnostics. The group currently operates 40 practices and one clinic.

Hogan Lovells advised the owners of MVZ Labor Krone GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction, including litigation, structuring of the share purchase agreement (SPA), the re-investment, and asset deals relating to the real estate segment.
