Rachel Overlander focuses her practice on representing employers before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution bodies.

She has substantial experience handling matters involving claims of discrimination, harassment, misappropriation of trade secrets, hostile work environment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other contract disputes. She also regularly counsels employers on a wide variety of employment laws and human resources issues as well as assists with sensitive workplace investigations, ensuring that her clients feel supported while navigating complex and sensitive workplace challenges. 

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Rachel was a labor and employment associate at a national New York-based litigation firm. In that role, she handled a wide array of employment and commercial disputes through every aspect of litigation, up to and including securing a defense verdict in a two-week wrongful termination trial.
