Randy’s broad corporate and commercial practice spans a broad array of “first-of-kind” and complex transactions for satellite, space, telecommunications and technology industry participants.  Her practice extends to the full range of financing, M&A, joint venture, procurement and commercial transactions to providing “general counsel” support to clients based on her 18 years as a (start-up) general counsel.  Randy assists entrepreneurs in developing strategies for success and navigating challenges that arise in new and emerging areas of the law.  Randy often serves as the “go-to” for clients for end-to-end regulatory and business needs, and coordinates with the many subject matter experts required for an innovative (and cross-border) offering, ranging from financing, data privacy, strategic spectrum licensing, export, communications regulatory, aviation regulatory, government contracts, and other areas that may be encountered in the lifecycle of a technology company, particularly in the area of space and satellites.

Representation of Columbia Capital in its investments, acquisitions and dispositions including for multiple portfolio companies, including Omnispace in its recently announced merger with Lynk.  

International satellite procurement and/or Launch Services counsel for Mexsat, Visiona Tecnologia Espacial (Brazil), Bangladesh, PT Bank Rakyat (Indonesia), MB Holdings (Oman), and UAE Space Agency. 

Representation of NextNav in its financing, de-SPAC transaction and various strategic transactions.

Representation of NeoSpaceGroup  in its international acquisition efforts including acquisition of UP42 from Airbus.
