Stéphane Huten is the partner in charge of the Corporate & Private Equity department in the Paris office of Hogan Lovells and is part of the global M&A and Private Equity management team. He focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions both on private and public companies, with particular expertise in private equity transactions. He also advises on stock exchange law and corporate governance issues.

Stéphane has been recognised by Financial News as one of the “Forty under Forty Rising Stars” and was named Private Equity Lawyer of the Year 2021 by Option Droit & Affaires. He is ranked as a Leading Individual by the key legal directories Chambers France and Legal 500 EMEA, and is consistently listed among the top five lawyers in France for Private Equity and M&A in the Mergermarket rankings.

Stéphane and his team have also been named Law Firm of the Year by Private Equity Magazine for three consecutive years (since 2023).

 Advising Groupe ADP regarding a share purchase agreement to acquire a 49% stake in GMR Airports, a major Indian airport group. (1.36 billion euros)
Advice and assistance of Transports G Gautier SAS in the acquisition of 4 businesses as a going concern owned by Küehne + Nagel SAS
Advising SANEF and SAPN on the sale of their minority stake in the capital of Autoroute de Liaison Seine Sarthe (ALIS - A 28) to PGGM and Vauban Infrastructure.
Advising Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (Andera), Chequers, IDI, Naxicap, Activa Capital, Cathay Capital, Chevrillon, Apax and several private equity funds on a regular basis
Advising ORCA Group on its quadruple acquisition to create the Angeloni Group
Advising Aéroports de Paris in connection with the acquisition of 39% of TAV Airports (USD 2.4 billion)
