In September 2015, 193 member states formally adopted the United Nation's 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. As part of this 15 year plan, an ambitious set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”) were set out to end extreme poverty, tackle inequality and injustice, and safeguard our planet. Although governments hold ultimate responsibility for the design, delivery and implementation of the SDGs, engagement from the private sector in supporting these national plans is critical.
We believe the SDGs provide a unique opportunity for the private sector in product innovation, market development, new business models, and more. Business investment and innovation directed at solving global issues will support sustainable and inclusive economic growth in which people and planet prosper. We seek to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and we support our clients to do the same.
