Pablo Torres is an associate in the London debt capital markets practice. Having joined the firm after several years working in private practice and as in-house counsel, Pablo has significant experience in structuring and executing complex derivative and structured products transactions, as well as practical, first-hand insight into issues most legally and commercially relevant to international investment banks and financial entities. 

Pablo’s experience spans a variety of financial products, including finance-linked hedging, structured interest rate and foreign exchange products, equity and credit derivatives and structured repurchase and securities lending agreements, together with related regulatory advice.

A major US investment bank on its flow repackaging issuance off both its proprietary programme and the SPIRE programme.

A European commercial bank on the structuring of a €12m umbrella programme for issuance of Tier 2 capital securities and structured products, along with related regulatory work.*

A major European investment bank on the issuance (public offer) of a Global Structured Securities Programme (including equity-linked and index-linked notes).*

A major Spanish commercial bank on a €10m Euro Medium Term Note Programme for dual-governed issuance of notes under English and Spanish law.*
