Alexia Legrand is an associate in the Paris office of Hogan Lovells, where she is part of the Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects team.

She advises on project development and financing transactions, primarily in the renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and energy transition sectors, both in France and internationally. She also has experience in export credit matters.

Alexia is fluent in French and English.

Advised VERKOR, a leading French producer of low-carbon batteries on the development and financing of its 16 GWh battery manufacturing gigafactory project in Dunkerque, France.*

Advised the lenders to ELECTRA, a leading French developer of EV charging stations, in the context of a financing of a project in Belgium.*

Advised the lenders to ZETRA on Europe's first non-recourse project financing dedicated to electric truck charging stations.

Advised SOFIAC in the context of its first greenfield project financing of energy efficiency projects in France.*

Advised the finance parties on an ECA financing for TRAFIGURA to expand its acquisition of non-hydrocarbon commodities across global markets.*

Advised the lenders on a EUR1.55bn financing of the Dörtyol–Hassa Highway & Railway project in Turkey.*

Advised TSE on a EUR 106 million greenfield platform financing for the construction and development of 15 photovoltaic and agrivoltaic power plants. 

Advised financial institutions on a EUR 500 million EIFO covered sustainability-linked facility for ENGIE to support onshore wind energy projects across the globe.*

Advised ELYSE ENERGY in the context of their ECA backed financing (EIB and BPIAE) to finance capital expenditures of their hydrogen/methanol and hydrogen/green fuel projects.

Advised the lenders to ACACIA on the financing of the construction of two Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects located in France, with a combined installed capacity of 185 MW.

Advised FIBRE 31 (held by Altitude Infrastructure THD and la CDC) on its EUR 213m refinancing of its very high-speed broadband network concession in Haute-Garonne.

Advised the lenders in relation to an acquisition and deployment capex financing for a global leader in wireless communications infrastructure.*

Advised EUNETWORKS on the French aspects of a sustainability-linked debt to fund the construction and development of the next generation of critical bandwidth infrastructure in Europe.*

Advised SHS Group on the EUR 1.7 billion financing of its flagship decarbonization project, Power4Steel, one of Europe’s largest decarbonization initiatives in the steel sector.

Advised CEE Group on the refinancing of existing facilities and the EUR 1.6 billion financing of the repowering of a large-scale solar and wind portfolio in Germany and France.
