We have been advising private credit funds since the early days of the evolution of the direct lending market in Europe. This means that we have experience of all of the products deployed by these clients. The volume of deals we do in this space means that we are on top of the latest market terms and help our clients to remain competitive, and this market knowledge allows us to push back on off-market asks.
We advise on all stages of the lending lifecycle, from structuring and establishment of private credit funds, advising on financing transactions, including regulatory and tax aspects, and providing restructuring advice if required. We also have a strong equity investment team who can assist with minority equity investments alongside debt facilities, or on a stand-alone basis. The strength of the Hogan Lovells practice across a wide range of specialist areas in multiple geographies means that we can call on our colleagues to assist with any issue that arises throughout the lifetime of a transaction.
